Dear Girls Gotta Run Foundation,
Last summer we did a lemonade stand for the "girls" and we raised $50. This summer I organized a lemonade and muffin stand with my brothers Andrew and Jack and my friends Emma and Ollie. We set up the stand at my grandma and grandpa's house. It was a huge success. We raied $100 this time for the girls. We worked really hard to get people to stop for the muffins and lemonade. It was a really hot day so everyone wanted lemonade.
We hope this money helps you get a bunch of sneakers for the girls who want to run. Below is a picture of my brothers, my friends and me.
Sincerely,
MADDIE (& hand drawn heart)

Dear Girls Gotta Run Foundation,
I first learned about the girls in Ethiopia who needed sneakers to run. My dad and I read the article in the newspaper around Christmas time. I told my mom and dad I wanted to do a lemonade stand to earn money for the girls who needed sneakers.
So, yesterday my brothers and I ran a lemonade stand at our house and raised over $31. I have a picture below of me at the lemonade stand. My mom and dad said they would give some more money too. I hope my contribution of $50 will help the girls run.
Sincerely,
(printed in orange magic marker) MADDIE
